Stuart Campbell, producing work under the name Sutu, is an Australian artist and director who works with digital media. He has created interactive webcomics, augmented reality stories, virtual reality films, and virtual concerts. He lives and works in Los Angeles.
Stuart Campbell exemplifies the power and benefits of creative fluidity. He operates from his unique vantage point, creatively and literally, immensely talented, dexterous, and highly prolific. Working in various genres and mediums, Campbell lives and creates in a small town in the Australian outback, regularly collaborating with an indigenous population that has lived there for tens of thousands of years. Sutu’s works, whether graphic novels, VR or AR, or new hybrids, subvert narrative conventions with a combination of imagination and technology.
