Students from the Ruth Asawa School of the Arts will take part in a pop-exhibition at 836M. The exhibition of visual art will be on display in the gallery during December, bracketed by two evenings of performance on December 4 and 16. These are the final programs in a year 836M has dedicated to exploring the theme of “Dialogue.”
For this pop-up exhibition, students will respond to the works of visual art that their fellow students have submitted. On Thursday, December 4 at 6:30 p.m., students from the Spoken Arts and Creative Writing program will engage in “dialogue” with the visual art on display, and on Wednesday, December 16 at 6:30 p.m., students in the Dance, Classical & Vocal Music departments will “dialogue” with the art.
This pop-exhibition marks 836M’s first collaboration with the Ruth Asawa School.
